Con The Call si è voluto esplorare i limiti del quadro audiovisivo, ma in maniera meno radicale rispetto agli altri lavori. Tutti gli elementi sono ridotti all’osso, ma sono presenti comunque una linea narrativa e una figura umana.

Il suono, utilizzato quasi come se fosse un secondo attore, dialoga a stretto contatto con la protagonista, descrivendo allo stesso tempo l’azione che sta accadendo e lo spazio in cui questa è ambientata.

With The Call, the intention was to explore the limits of the audiovisual frame, but in a less radical way compared to the other works. All the elements are stripped down to the essentials, but there is still a narrative line and a human figure present.

The sound, used almost as if it were a second actor, interacts closely with the protagonist, simultaneously describing both the action taking place and the space in which it is set.
